Today is the November supermoon, and I’m once again reminded of my own spiritual journey.
I see the full moon as a sacred time to let go of things that are no longer serving your purpose. By doing so, you can make room for better things. When that full moon also happens to be a supermoon? That impact of that time spent letting go is amplified.
FUN FACT #1
Our Tiffany blue Supermoon Serum was inspired by the potent healing magic of the supermoon. The intention is that by adding Supermoon Serum to your skincare routine, you’re setting yourself up for newer and better skin days. And that the effort you’ve put into your skincare routine will come back to you tenfold with positivity.
FUN FACT #2
Did you know that each full moon has its own special name and carries its own unique energy? They’re also related to Mother Nature and the changing seasons!
This fascinating system dates back hundreds of years. Indigenous tribes used to keep track of the changing seasons by giving each recurring full moon its own name. This is why each full moon has an interesting and unique name, such as “Wolf Moon”, “Strawberry Moon”, and “Cold Moon”.
FUN FACT #3
This month's full moon is referred to as the "Beaver Moon". The name was inspired by the fact that this is the time of year when Beavers take shelter for the winter, satisfied with the shelter they have built and the food they've accumulated for the winter.
Why does this all matter?
As human beings, we’re affected by lunar energy. This is why it’s important to work with it and use it to our advantage. The supermoon is the perfect time for you to give yourself some self-care and harness all the energy you can from the moon.
I personally really enjoy taking a moon bath during this time.
Water actually allows us to connect with the lunar energy. This helps us to more deeply connect with our inner being and open ourselves up to the greater things in life.
I always use All Over Soap and Intimacy Oil in my bath. It's my favourite way to protect and nourish my skin, while I enjoy a steamy soak. You can learn more about how I level up my bathing ritual here.
Baths help me to recuperate and stay grounded. They also allow me to enjoy a few minutes of mindfulness.
I encourage you to take a deep breath and let it all go. Allow the water to cleanse you... literally and spiritually.
